Ahmed Mande is a contemporary painter who lives in Austria but is originally from Uganda. Painting has been Mande's greatest passion since childhood, which is why he decided to study art and by now completed with the academic title of Bachelor of Industrial and Fine Arts. As a modern artist, Ahmed Mande is open to almost all topics, but he is primarily known for his colorful, cheerful and atmospheric cityscapes. Ahmed Mande‘s love for colors reflects the spirit of his passion and is expressed through the atmospheric, creative places whose colorful accents create indescribable atmospheres. In creating his artworks, Ahmed uses a technique of gluing thick blocks of color onto the canvas to give the painting impressive texture. The result is a unique, unmistakable style that characterizes Ahmed Mande's acrylic art.
Most of Ahmed Mande's artworks have been shown in exhibitions in the USA, Italy, Spain, Austria, Denmark, USA, China, Uganda, Sweden, Kenya, South Africa, the Netherlands and Great Britain and through his collaboration with CheetahCraft worldart, he is now able to sell his paintings online and thus make them available to the entire international art market.

My creative working as an artist shall touch hearts and reach the world. I take inspiration for my paintings from the small details and moments of everyday life. When I am painting nothing else matters to me until I capture every feeling that flows inside me.
Whenever I’m painting any artwork, I mix my colors on small stretched canvases to act as my color palette. I do this over and over again until I obtain enough thickness that I need.
Later, I employ a technique of cutting the small canvases into tiny pieces with an aim of sticking them to any new artwork in process. As you can see in most of my abstract paintings, this helps me to develop a unique texture for my work. My favourite painting tool is a palette knife.
As an artist, I am inspired by day to day life experiences which includes cityscapes, portraits, streets, nature, wildlife and seascapes among others. Therefore, I do not limit myself to one theme. I am open to virtually all subject matter.
