Since 2021, Alexander Mairgünther has been able to devote himself fully to his artistic career, which he initially began alongside his main job in the IT industry in 2018, in his own studio, which has led to enormous development. From objective and realistic painting, with a few excursions into the abstract, he came to expressive realism with a strong style, which characterizes his current work. Seasoned with insolence and humor. The artist sees his strength particularly in the nude.
So far, Alexander Mairgünther has primarily been able to present his artworks in Vienna, but together with CheetahCraft worldart he is now able to conquer the international art market and share his unique view of the human, carnal aesthetic and the blunt, naked world.

It must be strong and go fast; easy and as if by itself. All the work in between is only the preparation for the few minutes in which the actual picture emerges. With all the preparation that is of course required, and with all the craftsmanship, knowledge and ability, it is ultimately all about the picture forming in you and then finding its way onto the painting surface.
So simple and yet so difficult and unpredictable. I prefer to paint with a strong style and the whole arm; the stroke must come from the shoulder, not the hand or arm. But of course I always paint finer and more realistically to stay in practice, like with my daily paintings in the 30x30 format.
In terms of content, I mainly deal with bodies, people and animals. The expression, the message of the gesture is endless and timeless.
