Yasemin Ada-Tarsousi

In my paintings I process the past on a spiritual level and make my thoughts tangible for the observer.

About the artist

Yasemin Ada-Tarsousi (born 1985) is a Vienna-based modern artist who combines contemporary styles and semi-abstract figurations with spiritual elements from the Tantric-Buddhist Vajrayana. In her expressive, colorful acrylic / oil paintings, she addresses the 7 chakras in various art series, the energy centers between the physical and the 'subtle' body of the human being and wraps them within the respective colors that characterize the individual chakra. During the process of creating her unique artworks, music plays a major role for artist Yasemin Ada-Tarsousi. Color, music and emotion become a symbiosis and are expressed on the canvas of her paintings. The resulting acrylic / oil paintings are expressive and powerful on the one hand, but also melancholy and emotional. In addition to her art, Yasemin is a qualified life and social counselor, which also leaves certain traces in her art. Together with CheetahCraft worldart, Yasemin Ada-Tarsousi is now able to expand the range of her chakra-paintings and to reveal them to the international art market.

About Yasemin

At the moment my main focus is on the colors of the seven main energy centers/chakras. According to the classical Indian doctrine of the chakras, these colors have, in addition to their aesthetic value, a healing effect on the human energy balance. Portraits of women are always at the center of my artworks. The combination of the chosen colors and the protagonists reflects my own realities of life and here I would like to lead the women in my respective piaintings through the seven colors that I choose through a healing process that is tangible for viewers Women who stand up after they have fallen, women who discover their power and worth, memories, love, despair, search, forgiveness, self-love.
