About the artwork
Sometimes in life we don't really know what we want. We want everything to be better all the time, more money, a better job, great clothes, recognition, a new cell phone, a new car or a better look.
We are torn - maybe we know which way we want to go, but don't know how - or we just don't have the necessary means and ways to do it. And then sometimes, when you try to consciously perceive the moment, you realize that it doesn't really matter where we are in 20 years, what kind of car we drive or whether we wear the latest clothes. The important thing is that we have a great life right now. That we enjoy, laugh and sometimes cry. Every feeling of it is part of life. It's important that you enjoy the moment with the people you love and who are good for you. Material things will never make you happy - maybe for a brief moment, but they don't make you laugh or give you unforgettable memories. I think about things like that a lot these days and I put that feeling into the picture. What are we running our whole lives for to become better, faster and richer? The important thing is that we have fun and are happy. For me, this artwork has a depth in itself, but also joy and diversity. That's why it's called "Confusion".
Über die Künstlerin
Until my path led me to art, I often had the feeling that I didn't quite fit into this world. I carried so many emotions inside me and they overwhelmed the people around me. That's why I was afraid to let her out. But even though it was and still is sometimes difficult to cope with the harshness of this world, I have never lost my kindness and my soft core. And now I know what I was given this sensitivity and empathy for. I think this is the reason for the expressiveness that characterizes my art. My art is meant to encourage others to show their feelings. In such a fast-paced world, it is a privilege to have the ability to feel and act out your emotions. I want to give others hope that there is good in this world. That the good in life always wins and that sometimes you just have to open your eyes to see the things that make you happy
