The pretty, sideways-turned face of the figure in this painting represents the symbolic 'him', the second half, which is intended and waiting for many of us in this world. The abstract background of the painting and the acrylic pouring colors around the face appear dreamy and sensual - like the expression of longing.
The artwork represents one half of a two-part painting combination (second part: 'SIE') and thus also represents this longing for the 'better half' between those two paintings.

I love to paint, but recently working with scraps of paper and recycled or unusual materials / objects and jewelry has become very dear to my heart. What do I like the most? To turn anything into aesthetic objects. An object of perceptible beauty. For my eyes and heart, as well as the eyes and hearts of others. My technique? I work with oil, acrylic, tempera and spray paint ... on any surface I can find ...
