About the artwork
The painting shows the memories of what one left behind. I painted parts of my former home Yugoslavia and something from every republic is shown: on the ship is Tytel, the sky from Ex-Yugoslavia, etc .. At the bottom left are the cartridges from which ballpoint pens were made in Sarajevo - they are also a sign of destruction. This artwork unites my old home, the beautiful and the terrible, everything that belongs to life.

Über die Künstlerin
I was born in Bosnia / Herzegovina in 1965 and spent my childhood and school time there. Vienna has been my new home for over 30 years. From 2006 I studied painting at the Kunstvolkshochschule and graduated in 2009.
Painting gives me the opportunity to express my feelings and my view of the world. In order to be able to process emotions and impressions in pictures, I experiment with methods and techniques without being stuck or restricting myself. I use oil and acrylic paints, watercolor, chalk and charcoal, which I also mix on a case-by-case basis. So I allow myself the changing choice of means or techniques and the opportunity to open new doors again and again - for myself and for my pictures.

All pictures are sent "ready to be hung" for shipping. They are all stretched and / or framed and have a hanging device.
