Barbara Probst was born in 1977 and is the owner of the well-known Kierlingerhof in Kierling and a successful abstract artist. Under the motto “Giving up is for beginners,” the Kierlingen artist Probst fights through her life and leaves blows of fate behind her.

Her failing eyesight doesn't stop her from painting. One could think that painting gave her back her sight. Because it is precisely through painting that she brings the strong colors back to her inner eye and creates colorful images that convey strength, energy and courage to the viewer. Life energy that everyone needs today.

She collects her positive energy and creative inspiration under the chestnut tree in the Kierlingerhof. She expresses this positive energy in her pictures as an energy spinning top, which can be seen in old pictures.
