About the artist

Horadi Olivier is based in Rwanda East Africa. After completing his art education at Rwanda’s prestigious art school Ecole d’art de Nyundo in 2015 with a major in painting and sculpture, Hodari fully engaged himself in practicing art, he is a talented, powerful, mystical and highly motivated artist whose works when presented stretch as far as the eye can see, he evokes themes in his paintings using layers of color and stylized forms with bold and gracious figures that portray his academic and natural excellency, Hodari finds more comfort in contemporary abstract art and applies an in-depth knowledge he acquired at school in an inventive way to successfully achieve his goals, for his unique approach to doing art Hodari was selected best Rwandan youth artist by master card foundation under the hope, energy and ingenuity voices of African youth program, he is admired most by all fellow artists and he is treasured for his skills.

As an artist, Hodari many times creates what he feels, thinks and sees in the world around him garnering extraordinary reactions from his admirers, in his own words Hodari says “I challenges and stretch myself never falling back on what I have done in the past, among my great collection in painting, abstract work, I master today what will be history tomorrow”. His works have been displayed all around Rwanda and featured in several exhibitions in east Africa, USA and Japan, Vienna Austria To practice what he preaches on canvas with dancing colors  Hodari started a charity organization Art for street kids change Rwanda an organization when covid come through which he supports street children using art. He signs his works as Odari.

Hodari is a virtual artist who majors in painting as a form of expression. He acquires his skills from Rwandas prestigious art school Nyundo. Hodari does expressionism as well abstract art. Through his art for street change kids project gives back to the community. He creates a sense of love and smiles to the kids embarks in his project. Hodari has participated in a couple of local exhibitions as well as beyond the boarders of his country Rwanda.his works have been show cased in exhibitions in countries of Japan, USA,Uganda and Vienna Austria, Belgium embassy residence Rwanda.these have all been aime at bringing to attention the visual varies he paints on canvas inspired by mostly his way of life on social issues in his community.his exhibitions always it’s about to sharing the experience and joyful to the community and to use the benefit of his art to help the poverty people and share with others to his talents.
